TIoTA offers an inclusive membership model, to connect enterprises, software developers, and blockchain and IoT technology companies. The open source codebase funded and curated by the Alliance will secure IoT identities, firmware, data, and event logs for critical business functions, sometimes automated through smart contracts.
Members of TIoTA sit on a selection committee to adjudicate and award pooled funds into innovative smart contract projects at interface of blockchain and IoT ecosystems.
The TIoTA Reference Architecture is a preliminary draft document in progress that defines best practices for blockchain for IoT network operations. It is authored by TIoTA members. Authors of the current draft are Dr. Raullen (Qi) Chai and Dr. Xinxin Fan of IoTeX.
